We publish books that make room: for formal risk, for translated thought and for voices pushed to the edge of the market.
Margin Press began around a kitchen table with one novel, a borrowed laptop and the conviction that independence should change how a book is made—not only who owns the company.
We work closely with writers, translators, artists and designers from first conversation to finished object. Our list is deliberately small: four to six new books each year, kept in print and supported for the long term.
We pay advances, share rights decisions with authors and print responsibly in short runs. We collaborate with independent bookshops, libraries, reading groups and organisations that understand books as part of public life.

Margin Press is based in East London and distributed internationally. We welcome trade, rights, press and partnership enquiries. We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts.
